Entering the Awards

Nominate your Business/Product

The first step in entering the Awards is to nominate your business in a category/categories that best reflects your core business. For details and eligibility on all Categories, visit the Categories page on our website.

Nominations need to be completed online via the Awards website where full instructions on how to nominate are available. Nomination fees are payable at time of nominating. Please note; there is no nomination fee for the Sir David Brand Medals.

Nominations open – 10 April 2017
Nominations close – 9 June 2017

Submit your Written Entry

Having nominated for the awards, the next step is to write your Awards Submission. There are strict criteria & rules that must be adhered to when writing your submission. Rules of Entry will be provided to you.

Entrant Support Provided

With the support of Tourism Western Australia, TCWA will be offering several Entrant Support initiatives including:

  • Category Toolkits
  • Interactive Awards Workshops
  • Draft Submission Reviews
  • Fast Track Accreditation


To enter the WA Tourism Awards your business must be accredited by an Australian Tourism Accreditation Program Ltd (ATAP Ltd) endorsed program.
Please note: Exemptions apply to category 3, 14, 27, 28 and the individual awards.

Non-accredited businesses can submit a nomination but must have their accreditation completed by 14 August 2017 for their submission to be accepted.
