To facilitate travel to the 2019 WA Regional Tourism Conference, the City of Karratha has generously made provision for travel assistance for delegates travelling from outside the Pilbara region. The purpose of this travel assistance is to encourage more attendees visiting and learning about Karratha and the Pilbara region.
Delegates from outside the Pilbara who will be driving to Karratha to attend the conference will receive an immediate $150 discount on their conference ticket at the time of checkout for their registration.
Delegates from outside the Pilbara who will be flying to Karratha to attend the conference will receive the same discount, with a further $150 cash back subsidy issued upon submission of a completed application form and flight confirmation documentation (receipt or itinerary). This paperwork must be submitted to Tourism Council WA within ten business days of registration for the delegate to be eligible to receive the further subsidy, and the conference registration must be paid before submitting the form.
Funding for travel assistance is limited and applied on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are not guaranteed travel assistance will be available.
