Intrastate Marketing & PR Opportunities
Accredited Tourism Businesses are eligible for a complimentary listing on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse, which pulls through to consumer websites including australia.com, westernaustralia.com and holidayinwa.com.au. As such, Accredited Tourism Businesses can benefit from marketing campaigns such as Tourism WA's Wander out Yonder and Tourism Council WA's Holiday in WA.
Tourism Council WA is currently offering Accredited Tourism Businesses complimentary marketing benefits with their Regional Tourism Organisation, including listing on their consumer website.
Accredited Tourism Businesses also receive complimentary access to the ReviewPro Online Reputation Management Solution which allows businesses to see and respond to all online reviews in one dashboard. ReviewPro scores are displayed on the Holiday in WA website.
Accredited Tourism Businesses can benefit from Tourism Council WA's public relations activities which leverage ReviewPro scores and the Holiday in WA website.

COVID Booking Policies
As travel restrictions ease further, Tourism Council WA encourages tourism businesses to review their Terms & Conditions to give customers the confidence to book.
In partnership with Bailiwick Legal, Tourism Council WA has developed an example clause for tourism businesses to include in their Terms & Conditions to take into account the possibility of travel or business restrictions being changed at short notice.
COVID Clean Module Now Available
Give your customers confidence that you are providing them with a safe and clean environment by completing the new national COVID-19 Clean Practising Business accreditation module through the Quality Tourism online program.
The COVID Clean accreditation module provides best-practice standards for customers and bookings; staff management; materials and cleaning. The module develops customised daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists tailored to your business to support your efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 and provide confidence to visitors. Businesses which complete the module will receive a COVID Clean logo to display.

COVID-19 Tourism Business Recovery Planning Tool
Tourism businesses can access the free online Recovery Planning Tool to help them identify strategies on how they will respond to various stages of restrictions being lifted. If you would like to access the Recovery Planning Tool, please send us an email.
Up to date health information about COVID-19 is available from the WA Department of health. More detailed information for hotels and hotel staff has been made available by the Department on this fact sheet. This includes advice relating to guests who are ill or in self-isolation.

Access to Assistance/Stimulus Packages
For information on the Federal Government’s current stimulus package, visit the business.gov.au website. There you will find more information on the announced measures, and you can sign up for notifications. Information on eligibility and when measures will be implemented are available on the Small Business Development Corporation website.
The Australian Tax Office will consider relief for certain tax obligations to eligible businesses, including deferring tax payments up to four months. For more information, visit the ATO website.

Australian banks have hardship teams ready to assist you with your financial arrangements, depending on your circumstances.
