Member Webinar - Unfair dismissal and adverse action: A practical guide to dealing with claims

Tourism Council WA partner Bailiwick Legal will hold a webinar on navigating unfair dismissals and adverse action or general protection claims.

The webinar will cover:

  • What constitutes an unfair dismissal and to avoid unfairly dismissing an employee.
  • The steps to undertake if you receive an unfair dismissal claim, including claims filed with the Fair Work Commission or the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
  • What is an adverse action or general protection claim and how to avoid one.
  • The process you should follow if you receive notice from the Fair Work Commission in relation to a general protection claim.

Only employees of current financial members of TCWA are eligible for the Member Rate. Prices are inclusive of GST.
Payment for the order must be completed using PayPal/credit card at the time of registration. Government Departments requiring an invoice can contact Tourism Council WA (TCWA) to arrange.

Cancellation Policy: If minimum numbers are not met, you will receive notification of the cancelled event/activity and your payment will be reimbursed. Any cancellations made within 4 working days of the scheduled course will not be refunded, transferred or credited, however name changes will be accepted. Cancellations or name changes must be made in writing. Payment must be received prior to the event to confirm registration.
