Tour Guide Workshop Level 2 (Perth)

This workshop is primarily for those who have completed the Introductory Tour Guide workshop to enable you to practice what you’ve learned.

Enhance your skills as a tour guide from the experts! This one-day course developed by award-winning touring and training organisation Global Gypsies conveys more intermediate principles of guiding in a fun and supportive environment.

Through a combination of anecdotes, interactive activities, role plays and presentations, your two professional instructors, Jeremy Perks and Jan Barrie, will focus on developing and practicing the narrative that tour guides deliver on their tours, improving your public speaking skills & gaining presentation confidence. There will also be a fun & educational series of ‘role-plays’ to learn how to deal with real-life tour guiding situations while leading guided ‘mock walking tours’.

Global Gypsies has been running successful tours in Australia and overseas since 1997 and has been training tour guides for more than a decade. The company recently published an educational book entitled “How to Be an Award-Winning Tour Guide”.
