Yallingup Maze – “Yallingup Maze completed the Tourism Council’s accreditation program during the autumn of 2010. The accreditation was a very thorough business analysis and inspection. There were facets of our business that required more comprehensive systems and examination; the accreditation ensured these were covered. Often we spend a lot of time working in and on our businesses and keep meaning to “get around to…and / or talk about…” new ideas, improving our organisation, structure, procedures, policies etc. The detailed process that is required with the accreditation meant that these were covered. It was demanding, particularly completing the accreditation along-side daily work tasks. Of course now it is complete there is a sense of personal along with the tangible achievements.
I will look back on the accreditation again to re-assess my business. There are some fantastic tools there to be used again and again.”
