Purpose
We’re lucky to have an incredible tourism industry here in Western Australia—from amazing tourist attractions to delicious food & beverage experiences, our state has so much on offer. To honour that, the Tourism Council WA is proud to host and run the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards each year, dedicated to recognising and celebrating the success and contributions of a wide range of businesses in our tourism industry, just like yours.
What are the WA Tourism Awards?
The WA Tourism Awards is a prestigious recognition program for the tourism industry in Western Australia. They celebrate the outstanding achievements, dedication, and excellence of businesses, individuals, and destinations within the state's tourism sector.
The awards offer 27 different categories to acknowledge achievements across all aspects of tourism, from Major Attractions to Excellence in Accessible Tourism, and celebrate these achievements at a Gala Dinner, where the winners are announced.

How to enter
To enter the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards, there is a process you need to go through, including selecting your award category, nominating online, creating a submission, and joining us at the celebration Gala Dinner.

Important dates
With the nomination process beginning in March, and stretching through until the awards Gala Dinner in November, there are a few key dates you’ll need to remember, including:
- Nominations Open: 25 March 2024
- Nominations Close: 29 May 2024
- Draft Submissions Due: 16 July 2024
- Final Submissions Due: 5pm, 7 August 2024
- Gala Dinner & Awards Presentation: 9 November 2024
