Purpose
Accommodation, food and beverage pricing is generally based on adding up all the costs and then adding a margin. Those costs are in part, directly related to the accommodation i.e., room attendants’ wages, laundry costs, food and beverage costs, (Cost of Goods Sold) and in part, other administrative expenses i.e. office rental, stationery. This calculator can be used to calculate the cost of providing rooms, food and beverage. Your Accountant may separate Cost of Goods Sold from Other Expenses or list them all together.
