Purpose
The latest results from Tourism Council WA's Travellers' Intentions Survey showed the number of Western Australians intending to travel in WA over the next six months increased by 10 per cent to 71 per cent compared with the start of Summer last year.
Forecast growth in intrastate demand was highest for Perth City and the Swan Valley, however the forecast for some regional towns showed notable decline.
Wellness experiences and day tours had an increase in forecast demand from Western Australian visitors. Most accommodation types also showed an increase in forecast intrastate demand.
