The net business activity of Perth businesses is up by 29 per cent compared with September quarter 2023, primarily due to the recovery of international visitors.
Regional net business activity is down 10 per cent compared with September quarter 2023, primarily due to declining domestic, particularly intrastate, leisure visitors. However the survey showed significant difference between regions, small and large businesses and business sector including tours, attractions and accommodation.
