This estimator is for Accredited Visitor Centres which provide an in-person information and booking service. The estimator assesses the added economic value and jobs created from Visitor Centres upselling their destinations, facilitating visitors to do more, stay longer and increase spending in the destination.
The estimator is based on a door count of visitors to the Visitor Centre and the additional spending attributable to visiting a Visitor Centre is based on the "Measuring the Value of Visitor Centre in WA" research report by Tourism WA.
